Old Business

Field Day:  The log has been filed with ARRL.  We made 1,004 QSOs

MEPN:  The KØSI callsign will be used for the local MEPN node.  Radio Station KWWR has made antenna space available on their tower at no cost.  The 6M backbone antenna will be at 400 ft which will permit a direct link to St Louis.  KMØR will publish a list of items that are still needed.

There was no new status on the 440mhz repeater link.

National Guard exercise:  no ARES involvement has been requested so far.

New Business

Auction:  KØYBN noted the need of a volunteer to take over the club auction for next year.  He will assist but new work commitments prevent him from taking sole responsibility as in the past.  KØYBN has prepared an ad to be placed in the Columbia Tribune, thanking contributors to this year’s auction. It was moved, seconded and carried that the cost of this ad be paid.

Red Cross Courses:  Updated listings for local Red Cross courses are now available on the local chapter’s web site:  www.redcross-boone.org.

A hamfest status report was presented and discussed.
