Fox Hunt in Jefferson City

Hello all,

The fox hunt will be held in Jefferson City tomorrow (Saturday). The hunters will be assembling at a parking lot for the Capitol Building at 9:30. Talk-in and coordination will be on the 147.00 repeater with the 146.865 machine being used as a backup. The fox will begin transmitting on 147.55 sometime after that at approximately 30 seconds on and 3 minutes off.

This is planned to be an easy fox hunt with the intent of lots of learning about the equipment and the area.

We are planning on having two more hunts in the Jefferson City area before considering moving the playing field to Columbia or somewhere in between.

For those that have seen my TDOA (Time Delay Of Arrival) fox hunting antenna and have inquired, here is the address for the basic plans.

Due to a scheduling conflict with a conference for work, I will not be able to hunt this weekend. Rich Beckwith will be the fox this weekend.
